Evergreen Recycling Las Vegas

Evergreen Recycling, the largest provider of recycling services in Las Vegas and Southern Nevada, supports Gap’s “Recycle Your Blues” campaign. Through October 20, Gap encourages shoppers to gather their old jeans and bring them to a local Gaps store where they can get a pair of 1969 jeans at a special discount. The drive is part of the “Cotton. From Blue to Green” effort by Cotton Incorporated. The collected old denim will be given a “new life” by being recycled into UltraTouch(TM) Denim Insulation by Bonded Logic Inc., used for housing insulation, and donated to communities in need.

To sweeten the deal, Gap is offering its Facebook fans an exclusive deal - 40 percent off their new 1969 jeans purchase through Gap's Facebook Fan Page. Gap has three stores in Las Vegas.

The denim collected during the previous drive last march served as insulation for 500 homes in underserved communities and for special projects, including Hurricane Katrina rebuilding efforts.
